Zalando, Adidas and Danish Aarstiderne each won a golden European Ecommerce Award. The silver awards were for Onepiece, Topshop and HelloFresh, while Chic by Choice and Made.Com received a bronze award.
Zalando scores best in almost every category
Danish Aarstiderne took home the Entrepreneurial Award as Europe’s most innovative and groundbreaking company. It brings together organic and biologic food manufacturers with potential buyers, both locally and abroad. Onepiece, which sells jumpsuits on social media, took second spot, while Portuguese marketplace Chic by Choice came in third.
Zalando received the Pure Player Award, ahead of Hellofresh and Made.com. Vente-privee.com and Yoox were also nominated, but did not feature in the top three. Zalando won because it scored the highest in every category, aside from “shipping” where it came in second.
Adidas won the Omnichannel Award, because it was the top of the class at connecting different channels. Topshop came in second, while Decathlon, Ikea and Nike were also nominated.
